Association of Genetic Counseling Program Directors (AGCPD)​
The AGCPD promotes collaborative interactions between genetic counseling graduate programs and supports high standards of practice. The AGCPD administers the Genetic Counseling Admissions Match.

Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CACG)
CAGC is the professional organization for genetic counselors in Canada and provides certification of Canadian genetic counselors through examination.

North American matching system that places applicants into positions in master’s-level genetic counseling programs that are accredited by ACGC.

National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC)
NSGC provides education, resources and a voice for the genetic counseling profession in the United States.

The credentialing body for clinical geneticists, laboratory geneticist
s and medical geneticists. ABMG certified genetic counselors before the formation of ABGC.

American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG)
Provides education, resources and a voice for the medical genetics profession.

American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG)
The professional organization for geneticists includes researchers, academicians, clinicians, laboratory practice professionals, genetic counselors, nurses and others involved in or with special interest in human genetics.
