The following programs have achieved and maintained ACGC accreditation. Programs holding "Accredited, New Program" status are new programs that have not graduated a class yet. Programs holding probationary status are programs where the Board has identified areas in which improvements need to be made. All students entering programs holding any accreditation status at the time of entry are eligible to sit for the American Board of Genetic Counseling’s Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) certification examination.

*These programs are not yet accredited by ACGC, but have demonstrated sufficient development to be invited to submit a New Program Application by either having a Letter of Intent accepted or by achieving Candidacy. Once a New Program Application is submitted, the average timeline to an accreditation decision is 8-12 months.
